- Well, cast your mind back to soon before the Great Auction, when Escom first
- expressed an interest.
-
- They *stated* that all they wanted was to buy the NAME Commodore, to use on
- their PeeCees (the C= name being rather well liked in PeeCee circles abroad,
- aparantly).
-
- However, they were told that it was an all or nothing deal, so they
- eventually decided to buy the Amiga as well, and have since emarked upon a
- half-hearted attempt to sell the thing (based upon their actions rather than
- their words, that is).

- Hope this helps. (It was all well documented at the time, too...)

-
- Good. Perhaps they can explain why they are STILL not advertising or
- promoting the Amiga at all. (Poor sales over Christmas - just what did they
- expect with no advertising?)

-
- Cheap shot, and wrong!!!
-
- I use 2 Amigas at home (being an Amiga owner and user since 1988).
-
- At work, I use an A4000/040, and the entire software department use A4000s,
- since I persuaded the management that it would be better for us to use
- A4000s instead of poxy PeeCees.
-
- The only reason that we use a PeeCee for Internet access is that we have one
- lying around, and had a spare internal modem.
-
- However, all that is going to change soon. Oh yes. (As Dan Carron would
- say). We will be using an Amiga for Internet access soon, too. (And Amigas
- for everyone, if I have my way...)
